She works north central and downtown. From our place now its about 22 miles, not bad but during traffic its a bitch.

Oh I completely forgot to mention I like the new name! I did like the monkey theme but The Raisin is much more appropriate unless you plan on changing other panels soon!!! :D

Sean, what's the wheelbase of the Raisin? I'm at 103" and thinking 'bout pushing it out to 110-112"

I'm at 106", and its a little sketchy on the steep stuff. I'd like to have 110". Still short enough to do the tight stuff, but long enough to be stable.

Exactly... and even if I replace some panels, I'm sure they'll get beat up soon enough. LOL

I think I have 105" to play with. I noticed some of the longer trucks didn't have the same problem on some of the waterfalls that I was having. I prefer 105-ish so far.. 106 with those big tires worked wonders for Sean although I question what your tire pressure really was..

It all depends on the obstacle really.. like that waterfall on Royal Gorge where Scott broke his rear output shaft on his 4Runner.. I know my wheelbase is too short to ever try because my whole rig would be on the side trying to grip like spiderman... considering it was pretty much a sheer straight up shot about 9 feet.. its doubtful I stood a chance.


Yeah, tire pressure is an issue. I need to work that bug out before the next run.

Well, the Stauns are supposed to be at 48 PSI. So I had them at 30-35 and the "tire" at 0. No sidewall flex at all! So I lowered the Stauns to 20... same deal. Ended up at 12.. which is not right. Could cause damage to the Stauns. Anyhow, I need to set both to 0, then air one up to 20 and see how long it takes. Then back to 0 and try it again with the other stem. Figure the faster one to 20 is the Stauns since its a smaller air chamber.

But without the sidewalls flexing traction sucked. Shit I should have walked up ended up spinning the tires. Once I aired them all down it was pretty much point and go.

Honestly I think I would loose the stauns for some standard beadlocks and run them at or close to zero psi. That firewall is way stiff

I'm about with ya on that one. The tires would be great on a heavier rig. I'll mess with them a little more and then figure out what to do. Maybe I can buy my old IROK's and beadlocks back. :)

I just measured mine, and if I did it right (center of front hub to center of rear hub), I'm sitting at 105"
