There is a junk yard right down the street from me here in Leander. As a bonus- he has a 91 toyota pickup.Mostly the exterior through..
Doesnt buy steel, but accepts it. Wasnt worth hauling to a metal place in Austin for me.

Oh, and the cool part is you can just dump it right in front of the place any time of day...I dumped mine off at like 6am one morning.

Cool! I know there is a recycle yard off Lamar but like you. its not worth it to me to haul it that far. I might just cut it up into small sections and put it into the trash a little at a time. :)

Do you know if that 91 has good front quarters?

:D

If you are really thinking about linking the rear, that TG kit takes A LOT of time out of the equation and it's $200 off right now! :D You could tuck it next to the spare tires in the side yard!!!

I still say the cul de sac would be very busy right now with the pop ups, fans, tunes, sand blasters, plasma cutters, chop saws, welders, misters and keg!!! :D

I would like to buy that link kit from TG. Front and rear! :)

If I just landed from another planet, I'd say we're all afraid to wheel!!! I better get out. Broker if you want to go on a very light wheeling trip with 120, we're leaving for the Sierras on Friday. PM me or check out the planning thread on toyota120. I was tenetive but since my nephew was accepted this week, I figured it would be a good escape. I'll be bringing Zoom (to hold my beer :D).

With no AC and 105 degree temps... only way I'd go wheeling is if I magically turned into a lizard. lol

Careful there!!! You keep that crap up and you'll have to rename the raisin AGAIN!!! You take it too far, you may have to paint it a white with a Tiffany Blue tint/3 stage pearl!!! The new name would be Tiffany!!! lol lol lol

I do like clean trucks though. 'Don't own one, but I like 'em!!! lol

Yes, im 90% sure front qtrs are in good shape..may have the hood in the bed, but I know it was off.. Doors and good(I took the mirrors) and so is the interior(thinking about the bench seat if I cant find some seats soon).

Me too!!! Good excuse for full hydro!!! :D

Buy the rear now and when the front goes on sale.... :D

Perfect idea for the body of the raisin - collect tin can tops. Braze a couple of thousand of them on the body, starting from the rear, paint it that color changing green/purple paint and call it the Komodo Dragon!!!

That sucks that y'all don't have a heavy trash pickup. We have one here twice a month. The rules are it has to be shorter than 10' for them to take it and no paint/explosive stuff. Really convenient. Time to rally the Home Owners Association as part of your running platform Sean!

Post it in the free section on Craigslist, and it will be gone in a couple hours

Cool.. all I want are the front fenders.. maybe the hood. But mine isn't that bad. I'll have to call him up.

Dicked with the hub and hub studs last night. Unfortunately they did not bottom out like they should. Even after I chased the hole threads with a tap and die set.

You can see the shiny spot where the nut bottomed out using just the lock washer. I'll need to use washers.

I need to find a little better fitting washer, this is just one I had laying around.

yes, chromo flange. Looks like it won't use the cone washers.
