2)Look up Mcmaster Carr and order a 10 pack of 3/16" thick o-rings that fit snug around the sealing area for $6

None. Those lids are freaking tight. Only trip with them was Alto though. Also got to use my Super Siphon on that trip.

I might go the cheaper route and try a new gasket first though. But then again, you can never have too many gas cans. You'll need them for the zombie apocalypse.

Well.. found a problem.

My jerry can leaks.. ever so slightly. Its just moist around the neck and you can smell the vapors. But I imagine in the summer heat it will leak worse. Hmmm... Time for a new can.

How long has it been out in this cold? Rubber seals aren't the greatest in cold weather and how cold has it been in the last few days? Just a thought. I would put in the warm garage on its side and see if still leaks.

Not so much, can in fire, thought can would fizzle a little, it didn't, it fucking exploded and scattered the fire. Murphy was poking it with like a 5' stick when it blew and reduced said stick to about 1' and turned his face black, and burned numerous holes in the tents and chairs
