Thanks man! I appreciate the kind words.

Yeah, I'm sure that in 15-20 years I'll get some bad news from a Dr due to something I did 20 years ago.

Maybe it's just a reminder that we have to be cool to our livers!!! :)

Did you have any problem stuffing that Platinum into the stock location?

I had to do a couple things.

1: Trim down the factory J bolts so that it would fit tight. I suppose you could also install a spacer under the battery.

2: The wires are a little short. For me it wasn't a big deal because I had installed the aftermarket terminals and distribution blocks for the stereo/dual battery/winch/etc. But on the positive side there was one cable, the yellow arrow, that would not reach had I not done that. The red arrow points to one that was pretty tight, but I removed some clips that were holding it back and that gave it enough room. The green arrow points to the ground that I moved.

When I bought my Platinums they didn't have a direct replacement battery, but it looks like they do now. I think I would still get the other battery that requires some re-work because it has more CCA and reserve capacity.

Cool thanks - Mine may have crapped out on me already! Another good reason to upgrade! ;)

For sure. The Taco's OEM batteryhad lasted about 2 years and then I upgraded. It wasn't dead, but I was doing dual batteries and didn't want to mess with it.

What set up did you use for isolating? I have a Warn Type Diode thing in a box but having done anything with it yet.

I went with 12volt guys dual battery controller setup. I had to add a few things, summit racing 0 ga. battery relo kit and box plus all the terminals and fitttings.

And some tests haven't had the positive outcome that I expected either. LOL

Exactly what was the roll over angle again:rolleyes:

I can't recall within 10-45 degrees. But after a while when you are going from side to side you just sorta forget about it... its very soothing, like rocking in mama's arms or something. LOL

The camera was not tilted.. the ground comes up on the lefthand side.. helping to push me over I suppose.

I think you may be referring to the destructive phase. :)

Exactly... I've learned my lesson. :) New Taco parts are not cheap... better to break older Yota's than newer Yota's.
