Your gonna want to keep one of your old headlight bulbs in your glove box. Rob and I both ran those sylvania silverstars and we've both replaced them multiple times. I got to the point where when mine burned out I replaced them with anything that wasn't slyvania. On my last bulb that burned out here recently, the filament wasn't even broken, bubbled, or burned out. The bulb looked just fine, but it didn't work. They seem to last just about a year(just past the 1year warranty) and then burn out when your on a road trip home.

Agreed they burn out after awhile, double for me since I put em in my foglights too

Well my last set was in the rig for well over a year.. probably 18 months. Only reason I bought new was because I have new housings.

Did you guys have the Silverstars or the Silverstar Ultra's?

I bought the RAM mounts from GPSCity.com. They have a pretty large variety to select from.

No.. they sent me an email stating they shipped and would arrive today. But the UPS tracking number they gave only states that its in the system and has yet to be picked up.

I had the ultras before I switched headlights and they didn't fit, it was always one that would go out and I would replace it with a one from a twin pack so I always had at least one spare, Been runnin em for at least 3 years

Fabbed up a prototype jerry can holder that attaches to the bed rails. Works good. I need to throw some paint on it once it warms up a bit...wind chill is around 10 right now.

I need to move the light.. I have an idea for it though.
