Neighbor just broke the "Street Car Takeover" record last night in his LS powered Fox Body. Did 7.493 @190 mph in the 1/4. Not bad for street legal on small tires.

I was happy to break into the 11's when I had my Mustang and a 351w....now just about every 4 door Cadillac can do that. How times are changing.... glad to see someone still rocking an old Mustang....sad to see it's powered by a Chevy though.

Kind of sad that they are all powered by the same general power plant. It would be interesting to see how the different company hardware would hold up to the track and compared to each other. Pretty obvious the track would destroy a stock rig; but upgrade the stock drivetrain and run that mother into the ground. Find the weak points.

Only because of the NHRA rules, that Mopar motor is largest at the maximum engine that fits best, because sanctioned drag racing favors heavy restrictions on engine configuration...

Remove the restrictions and Chevy will find a way to dominate that category as well.

They still need to revamp the interior. There's no excuse for still using the same heat/cool controls from when it first came out. Also there's plenty of space to add in additional switch panels...
