Last time I was there we cruised down the beach at 70mph

The sand was definatly not that smooth when I was there. I could hit 40 in a few spots.
I just checked the park report and it sounds like everything is going to be good. It did say driving was poor and only 1 lane getting by on the high road.

i've been checking too, the forecast changes daily though. let's just hope it changes for the better.

Alright just talked to my buddy. Won't know 100% until tomorrow sometime so this is going to be a last minute trip.

Questions incase this pans out:
We won't be getting there until about 9:00 Friday night, will I be able to find yall?
Since this is a National Seashore, will we still need fishing license? I know state parks don't require one, don't know anything about the national level.
Other than fishing stuff, food and drink, and a place to sleep (probably truck) what would I need to bring?
