My sister (RN) is getting one of the vaccines today through work. She's a little concerned & so is the family. No one on this side of the fam is good w/drugs. We are strange brew that runs cool at 96*, doesn't get chicken pox, and has adverse effects from some pharmaceuticals & some vaccines (shingles/pneumonia). Fingers crossed everything works out.

I got the vaccine on the 29th.. go in for the 2nd shot on the 20th. Feel fine.. arm was a little more sore than a typical shot but nothing "painful". Only reason I got it is my wifes job. Oh well.. got to die of something.

I’ll wait for everyone else to die before I see if the vaccine can be trusted. Working from home has its perks. My sister and BIL both work in healthcare and are likely getting the shots soon.

I think it’s still to soon to know the true risks vs benefits for the vaccine. I’d rather have a healthy life and risk a very low chance of getting the “virus” than be one of those poor saps who’s calling a lawyer because I saw the ad on a 2am infomercial offering to represent me in a lawsuit for my balls falling off or some other side affect that’s currently unknown for the vaccine

I totally agree.. I was prepared to never get it. But happy wife happy life. Since she is part owner and it would look bad and limit her abilities.. plus I am old enough to not give a fuck at this point.

Just got off the phone w/my sis & she's great. So far she's 100% better than the pneumonia and shingles vaccines that screwed her up. She said she has had zero reaction so far.

So now that she's ok so far she's working on getting my mom moved up so she can get it this month. Right now I think she's scheduled for Feb. & my sis may be able to tweak it up to Jan 20th.

My job I have now is getting more bullshitty every day, some guy just left our group and another guy retiring end of January so I'm inheriting their work, no thanks.
