So far 3 of my old co-workers came down with Covid, 2 had to be hospitalized, and 1 of their family member's died. And it just started last week. Old Co-worker called me up freaking out today telling me how people are actually coming to work with it and not telling others....like the owner.
Also getting sued again so now thats three lawsuits all over 100k for non-performance/sub-par performance on projects.
So glad I got out when I did.

With such a small percentage of people getting the vaccine right now it will be difficult to tell even then. Once the vaccine starts getting to the demographics that have a higher infection rate then we will be able to tell. If the infection rate starts to drop and then plummet then it will be an easy trend to support the vaccine.

I told my wife when this shit started with the "we have a vaccine".. I said they won't have one for the mutated version and it's coming.

My wife's boss makes them get tested anytime they sniffle. She went n got tested last week and was positive so I quarantined with her last week. I went and got tested so I could go back to work today and I tested positive. They said I'm just "shedding" it and that I'm probably not contagious anymore, but to go ahead and give it a few more days. They did a second test and sent it to a local lab, and I should hear from them tomorrow.

List of guys at my old work catching it is growing daily. Just got off the phone with two of them looking to see if any of them (the good guys I actually like) were getting cut cause work was slow and I'd pay them some cash to give me a hand for a day.
Not going to happen. Out of the 10 guys I'd only pay 2 on my dime and 1 of them has covid and the other is stupid busy because half the company is out w/it.

My sister just ran by me Christmas dinner indoors at her house as she's staring at a ham in the grocery store . I voted it down.
Told her we should do gift exchange outside and Ill bring the firewood for her pit. We settled on dinner & gifts by the firepit.
No idea what my one feral nephew or his new crazy GF are up to and the less indoor contact they all have with my mom the better IMO.
I stopped having my mom over as soon as the weather got too cold fer her, but for a while there we prob spent more time together outdoors during covid than prob the past 2 decades combined.
