Ill be working on/off the bank branches our estimator just landed for a while even though the jobsites are shut down. Used to sub out shop drawings to a buddy and Ill do that all myself now. I also need to visit each to measure what I can, so I can get stuff ordered after submital approvals. Heck - today took me all day just to set up my files physically at home and at work online. I need some data for jobsite visits so I still maintain paper files on critical items (blue prints/PO's/contracts). I haven't even opened up any of the prints yet. I always do my own take-off for my own budget before I even look at the estimators pricing ~ Cheap way to double check his scope. Never know whats hidden or bid wrong and I need to catch it now.

Hopefully we are moving closer to a "common sense" requirement that will relax the stay at home orders. If we required people to wear masks/ face coverings of some sort while in public it would effectively stop the spread of a lot of communicable diseases/viruses. This would allow a lot of businesses to reopen and start earning a living again. Anytime people can earn a living is better than the government spinning up the printing presses to give away money.

Hopefully one take away from all of this will be people wearing masks if they do not feel good. I know where I work they have already discussed it being a requirement for people that do not feel good.

also nothing wrong with a bow vs handshake IMHO, but I used to have to bow allot in martial arts when I was young.

I'm sure no "Mericans" would want to do so, but maybe it's time to make a culture change.

The boys received their passports weeks ago, but our renewal passports are lost in translation with Dept of the State.

Motivation for work has been a bitch for me. I'm not a fan of working from home. Did my best to keep them separate my entire life now having trouble finding that separation. Now ones bleeding into the other and I find myself doing work until 8pm at night and skipping lunch/dinner some nights.

Kinda wish I could take some 'time off' like everyone else - then I kick myself in the ass for being able to work from home and being super lucky when others can't work and are getting ruined financially. Always want what I can't have.

Good luck man! Ive got another 29 days minimum lock down in NJ. I almost drove into work today for paper, folders, to get out of the house, but then I smartened up and figured I can get by w/o them so no need risking anything to ease my boredom.
