Nurses are reporting that parents are sending kids knowingly sick to school.

Yep, my kiddo has had a mild variant of the flu for the past week from someone else's kid who was sick at school. It spread to my new born and she's been fighting it as well.

My co-workers kid went to school with a runny nose. They called his wife to come pick her up and get her tested. She tested negative. His wife gave her some zrytec and it cleared her runny nose up.

So they are either over-reacting or not acting at all.

Yep, we had to get our daughter tested last weekend. I knew it was allergies but the wife wanted to be safe and have that the test results for Monday in case the school said something. So a bit of overreaction but whatever.

Well this was the administrators at the school making them do it.

WE are the front line to our own lives. I've never seen Front Line 'Workers' get in front of my particular issues! One of the reasons some people carry. I wish that boating accident didn't happen.

I'd prefer a nurse take care of me vs some rando off the street if I was in need.

Well, I do think that every adult should take an advanced first aid class if that helps. ...and be personally responsible to take care of their body to the best of their ability. How many people died from Covid that truly had respected their health and worked towards curbing their addictions to food or other substances? Asking for a friend.

Anybody else think that it is crazy how this time last year people were rioting and looting because Trump was so bad, but nobody is doing that because Biden is so bad?

While my day-to-day hasn't really changed, I feel like we are significantly worse off now than we were then. Yet the "losers" of the last election are somehow able to control their behavior much better than the "losers" of the previous election.
