Well I am planning to add a rear bumper and it will remove the place where the D-rings will attach so I picked up this. Dog wasn't impressed.

Made in America and a decent price. Winner.
Also my dogs chair used to be in my daughters room... she didn't want it. We pulled it to the garage to throw away and Auggie decided it was his. LOL.. He is color blind so I don't make assumptions. :)

Time to get back on this thing. Weather is getting to be right for camping as long as this thing is ready. Last time we were out with it the Baja Design S2's did great but attracted bugs (duh) so I ordered some amber covers for them. Also ordered 5 KC HiLites amber Cyclones. I have two of these (white) under the hood of the Taco and they work awesome. I figure I'll have two aft, 2 mid and one under the tongue area. Now to see how long it takes for me to get them installed. LOL

Well so far it has taken me 8.5 months to get these installed. LOL I would like to work on it this weekend though. I picked up 4 Polk Audio DB521 5 1/4" marine rated speakers, a compact Kenwood 4x50 watt amp, and a marine stereo enclosure for my Kenwood Excelon single DIN flip-out DVD player headunit. I need to get some 6" PVC caps to use as the speaker enclosures for them. Similar to what I did on my 4Runner. 4Runner had component speakers, these are just 2-way speakers so the cap alone will work.

Edit... gonna pass on the DVD flip up DIN unit. Going to just get a media receiver.. bluetooth and radio. That's it. Don't need to have the ability to watch DVD's when camping. If we need that we can sit in the Taco and watch them on the headunit in there. Downside is that's one more thing I have to pickup. Luckily the one I am looking at is only $129.

Not sure if you have a satellite radio subscription but many times where we camp that's the only option besides bluetoothing saved stuff. I know your an audiophile so not sure if that's been covered, but I do like satellites ability to provide up to date news and live sports pretty much anywhere and everywhere.

Yeah, its not a super loud system, just some camp tunes. I know I could have used a blue tooth speaker.

I do not have a satellite radio subscription. But the headunit I am looking at has that ability. Plus it has Pandora/Amazon Music and some others so that is an option.
