Yea but it's a bit of a task to get them off. Didn't junk yards stop taking cats because of theft rates on them?

The legit yards stopped. Reporting requirements mandated by the City of Houston (some other cities also have similar ordinances) require scrap yards to take pictures of the scraper, take down DL info, and even photo your vehicle. This just pushed the scrapers out into the surrounding counties that don't require anything.

I am with you Randy. Mine were stolen on my wife's b-day last year. It was the 4cyl so half the cats and the dealer still wanted $1900 to fix.

Ya, thats why I'm running magnaflow cats now. Shit was gonna be like 3 grand to fix with yota parts, I needed all 4 cats plus 2 O2 sensors

Unfortunately there are basic principles of law that get in the way. Famous case about a guy who's cabin got broken into all the time. He finally rigged a shotty to the front door and bang!!! He lost everything including the cabin to pay damages!!! Sad! I would especially love to see some of those sons a bitches get what should be coming to them!!!

Actually the case would have been thrown out of court for being stupid in Texas. He got what he had coming.

What ever the situation in what ever state it happened in, it is complete and utter bullshit! This is what is wrong with the world today. Break into someones else property and then sue them for your own loss in doing so. Fuck that! People need to be responsible for their own actions and learn to suffer the consequences. Period.
