Strongest sidewalls?

Can yall give some recommendations for the tires with the strongest sidewalls, some bullet proof shit , my boss has been shopping around but every brand we've tried always pops on the sidewall cause of grease wood roots poking out while driving cross country. He's thinking about military tires but we also need some that are highway friendly. Any comments?

Disagree TSL/SX are hands down the toughest tires I've seen, but with the sort of shit your running over out in the field there isn't a tire out there that will stand up to that very long tractor tires included. Get a SxS the tires are cheaper to replace and they are more use full to surveyors than lumbering around everywhere in a truck/SUV.

My TSLs have been tough as hell on the rocks and driving through scrub brush. I'm not sure how nice they are on the highway though.

Cool I'm gonna look those up thanks. Any others yall can think of so I can look them up on line. Does bias sidewalls or radial make any difference?

I'd say right now about 70highway/30 offroad but only because we're not wanting to risk getting flats or else it would be the other way around. most offroad stuff we do is real easy simple safe for tires stuff but we need to have the tires for when it gets real rough. Here in the next few months the we'll be doing a bunch of Ranch jobs so it's lots of cross country across scrub brush and jagged rocks. Right now we're walking miles a day cause we don't want flats while working.

We have some Yamaha rhinos but they're unreliable they over heat within a few miles of driving and we can't load them with all the equipment so they're pretty useless unless we're using them to stake long lines and during the winter

Then you will want some TSLs. They are tougher than hell and great off road. I know people that do drive them on road too with decent results.

Sell the rhinos and go get a new polaris ranger, and wtf are you carrying around that you can't put out all in a SxS I regularly takes ours out with the GPS, total station, 2 tripods, 2 range poles, and 2-3 bundles of stakes, plus nails flagging and all the other assorted little shit. The ranger makes pipeline work super nice the year before we got the ranger I went through about 20 tires on the F150 driving pipelines. No more of that, granted I might have to run back to the truck for more stakes 2-3 times but its well worth it

I agree with Drew. Stay away from the swampers, and get a set of KM2's or the Goodyear Kevlars. I've had both, and put both in the rocks and the road. Both perform great everywhere.

We carry about the same plus all the pipe and rods and ice chest, battery. It fits but we can't load it cause the more we load them the faster they over heat, they been serviced at the yamaha dealer and they say they're in top shape yet they over heat within at least 5 miles of driving.
Yea we've gone through a few sets of tires on the tundra but my boss makes sure we don't fuck them up cause he doesn't want to keep buying tires so we may go with the mtr Kevlar ones.

Haven't owned MTR Kevlars, but TSL SX's are damn strong. I ran the piss out of mine at 4 PSI and never hurt them. I have one as a spare now for my 37" Krawler stickies.

Oh the Goodyear duratracs are pretty badass too. They have a sidewall that's designed to protect your rims too and are good onroad.

The MTR's are like shovels. I watched Rich kick up 20ft roostertails at the beach in 2wd. lol
