As some of you know, I've been dying to hit up the beach since I got down here.

Anyone want a beach day this weekend? I'm open Saturday & Sunday...

ive nvr been down that far, but im free to go as of now, hoping ill have some steel by then to start on my tire swing out tho.

Wish, I could make it, but I'll be laid up on the couch. I start the last round of my back surgery on thursday.

Can you do us a favor? Hop on Google maps and get us a lat/long for the cut to the beach that we talked about.

And thanks, im not worried about the surgery. Im more annoyied that ill be out of action for 2 months again.

Winning, duh. What beach plans you have? Fishing, swimming, chilling? I might be able to drive down for a couple hours, depending on how many house projects I can get done this week. So is it gonna be surfside or san luis pass?

I've got no fishing license yet and the water is probably still too cold...

Is it okay to fish w/o a license in the Republic of TEXAS? Are you going to be above 10k? :D

Well let's see... I guess it depends upon your definition of the words 'have to have' is. Mike, how many people do you know that have had a $10,000 fine and 6 months in jail? Are they running that HAM radio enforcement zone near the water crossing this year?

Well to answer your question, no (you do not have to have) it's like fishing w/o a license in a lake that is at 10,000 feet. It's much better if you have a government official asking you for your license but the key on the mic won't change.

Might be down for this trip, my cousins are taking Brayden this weekend so that means only three kids and Kindra. She said she's cool with coming down for the day, what time you getting down tete?

Not sure if I have either.I pretty much grew up at surfside, but not sure were this place is. Prob about 2 1/2 hr drive for me, so if I leave around 8am I can be there by 11.
