I would stay away from both of those honestly. Check out www.masterpull.com. I am running their Superline and its amazing stuff. It has a breaking strength of 21000 pounds.

Viking also makes a good product, although I'd lean toward Masterpull over Viking. http://www.vikingoffroad.com/

For comparison, the stock steel cable that came on my Warn M8000 was rated at 9000 pounds, the Viking 5/16th's line is rated at 13,600 pounds, and the 5/16th's MasterPull SuperLine is 21000 pounds.

This may not be what you are looking for but, I like to see two 'rock guards' one to keep on the first wrap on the spool to keep heat damage from the internal brakes to a minimum and use the other on the end to protect from sun damage - UV resistant is not the same as UV proof. :)

I would go for the strongest rope that will fit.

One other tip from Bill Burke to me... "Murph, get rid of the aluminum fair-lead and use a roller fair-lead - Your rope will last longer and the only time you may have an issue is a pull with 45°, 135°, 225° or 315°. You will be glad you did!" I haven't but I do have a new roller fair-lead and poly rollers that I may install before I die! :D

Also, if your winch came with 5/16th line you should stick with that size. Going up to 1/2 line only means less line on the drum. Too many wraps and you loose pulling power. Also, the synthetic line CAN melt due to the brake on the winch. So you want something that has a heat shield or can handle the heat. Finally, that line on Amazon might make a great winch extension cable. Since it probably wouldn't be used too often, its relatively cheap, and you can store it in a tool bag which would prevent the suns rays from damaging it. AND, if it breaks you can tie it in a knot and not worry about trying to feed it into the winch.

One other thing, Shorter rope is not a bad thing - especially if you have an extension. You get your strongest pull on the first wrap. Also watch some Bill Burke recovery vids - He has some good tips!

Good point, put like 60-75 feet of 1/2 line and that way its not too many wraps yet its ultra strong. I just like a little more cable... just in case. But I don't carry an extension, I need to.

Those fairleads are NICE! I like your comment as to their pride (price!). :D

My brother's skull was punched in by a steel slither of a steel WINCH cable while working on a tug boat. His eyeball is now about a 1/16th of an inch closer to his nose but they did save the eye!!! Lucky guy!

so, I Buy the Offroad 92' Blue Synthetic Winch Rope, I know that is not good Quality... but.. for my first Synthetic Rope, to test it...and see what their pros and cons...
and later I will use it for a extension rope...and then I buy some awesome masterpull...Winch Rope M-P Superline XD, that will be my next purchase...

so, it`s necessary to use some Aluminum Hawse Fairlead with the Winch Rope¿? or can I use my OEM Roller Fairlead ?

I would add two 5-8' sections of line saver sleeves to your line as mentioned above too. Cheaper ropes have the same fiber material (I don't know the median lenght of those fibers, but some use products that will reduce the wear). Using these sleeves on the drum wrap and the last wrap will protect it from the sun and the heat from the drum. Then use them if you are pulling over a rock or a tree to reduce the friction on the rope.
