State OHV Parks Link - The parks that are working with the state like Bridgeport and Barnwell. The website list for stores to purchase the OHV sticker is not 100% accurate.


Central Texas

Canyon's Off Road Park - Fredericksburg

Cline Ranch - Lake Hills

Consafo Ranch - Kerrville Limited openings

Hidden Falls - Marble Falls, TX Great place to off road and camp with a group. __________ Pics from 2015

K2 (The new Katemcy Rocks) - Mason

Long Ranch - Llano

Trees Ranch Offroad - South of I-10 between Kerville and Junction Open very limited weekends during the year; but the off roading is supposed to be amazing.

Wolf Caves - new off road park by Mason, Tx. Website has pricing, free primitive camping, and maps.


DFW Area

Bridgeport OHV - Bridgeport Park has trails for all kinds of 4x4s; not very 2x4 friendly now. __________ Oct 2016 Pics

Brushy Creek Motor Farm - Royse City

Off Road Motorsports - Itasca Purely a mud pit for mudding.



East Texas

Barnwell Mountain - Gilmer, TX __________ Jambo 2016 Pics

Brazos Valley Off-Road Ranch - Bryan, TX open by reservation only



Houston Area

Down South Off-Road - Crosby (15 mins NE of Houston)

General Sam's Off-Road - Huntsville lots of mud and some trail riding

Creekside Offroad - Splendora, Tx Reported to have lots of mud and tight trails; no rocks reported.



West Texas

General Land Office land west of Big Bend National Park - South of Marfa ( Lat: 30°18'9.83"N , Lon:104° 1'49.49"W) and head to the border on RR 2810

Nice list. One correction. Hot Springs is in Arkansas

Another Oklahoma park is Burris Valley Ranch near Pittsburg. Huge rocks.

No - Tolar is still closed as of this time. This is a list I worked on a while ago.

I just noticed that Christmas Mountain wasn't on the list. It's just one trail in Terlingua but the views make worth the trip.
