They showed up and took everything... fit it all into the back of a shortbed Chevy 1500. A big ass sectional, 2 recliners, an end table and a 10x14 rug. LOL They did strap it all down with a shitload of ratchet straps so that was nice to see. I am using some folding camp chairs in the living room until next Friday. LOL

We got rain for about 5 minutes. Co-workers who live maybe a mile away got rain for 45 minutes.
We're getting slammed right now. I had my roofer come out yesterday and fix a bunch of broken storm damaged shingles on my house (it wasn't enough to file a claim). He also took care of a tiny leak we had from a damaged shingle and got an old satellite dish off the roof.

Enjoy might be a "stretch"
So let's breakdown my last week...
Sunday - was riding my old Harley and the shifter lever left the bike. It was mostly my fault because I did not torque it down properly. I was able to get home in 5th gear though.
Monday - nothing
Tuesday - tested the bike with the new shifter, got caught in a drenching rain on the way to the gas station. After filling the bike up the battery was dead. Thankfully I was able to bump start the bike to get home to buy a new battery.
Wednesday - the Samsung fridge replacement was ordered and new battery installed after spending the night on the charger.
Thursday - Sammich maker was driving the Tacoma to classes when a rock busted out the driver's side rear door window. At lunch I took the old Harley out for a test ride before a trip this weekend and the bike would not shift out of 3rd gear.
Friday - Cancelled the hotel room this weekend since I did not trust the bike to ride 5 hours from home for the weekend, lost the room cost due to cancellation so close to the reservation. I was able to get the Tacoma's window replaced.
Saturday - Went to Panther City BBQ for lunch and parked in the same lot I did last time with a bunch of other vehicles. After lunch I came out to find out the 4Runner had been towed since they put up no parking signs for the lot. So an Uber ride and ransom fee later back in the 4Runner. I am not sure I want to leave the house the rest of this weekend.
