I would be okay with a little lag for the increased effeciency and simplicity vs a supercharger.

Twin turbos usually dont have turbo lag. Ones for low end and one is for top end just for that reason. That's what ford does and Toyota is doing at least on these newer ones. They do the same with variable turbos if they are single. Turbo > supercharger because they use wasted energy from the engines exhaust to make more power, supercharger has to steal it off the crank to make more so you are already loosing potential power from the jump.

Texas guys; everyone getting ready for this weekend? We may have a full 70 hours below freezing (for perspective that should be half the freeze event in 2021). My plan is to stay home and maybe have some fun with the 4Runner pulling idiots out of ditches around my neighborhood in the afternoons.

Yep, my work will still tell everyone to come in if they can. If not, use a PTO day.

I will be working from home Friday and Monday. Hoping my wife's job let's them go an hour or 2 early on Friday so she can get home before it starts freezing.

I was supposed to work on Monday but told them I'm not coming in if the roads are still icy. I'll just make it up on Thursday. Luckily I'm already scheduled off for the weekend. Told them I'll remote in from home if they need any PLC work but I'm not coming in regardless of how bad of issues they have.

I am hoping we don’t get much. I do have 45’ of heat wrap on order to wrap the pool plumbing in just in case. Also have 8 gallons of fuel for the generator to run that heat wrap.
