So we had the follow up appointment with the surgeon for the lab results from the surgery. There were no big surprises other than hearing it be confirmed. He kept saying "abnormal cell growth" but not "precancerous" which seemed like a dodge but whatever. The main takeaways were doing a year of a new medication 3 to 4 times a day to reduce acid in her stomach, no eating or drinking 2 to 3 hours before bed, and raising her head when sleeping to keep stomach acid in the stomach.We are back home now. The procedure went well overall but was not to the plan. The doctor found a large number of polyps in her stomach so he pulled them for biopsy instead. Now we have to go back in 6 months for the next procedure as he was concerned doing too much at one time.
