Happy Mother’s Day you mother fuckers.
So we had the follow up appointment with the surgeon for the lab results from the surgery. There were no big surprises other than hearing it be confirmed. He kept saying "abnormal cell growth" but not "precancerous" which seemed like a dodge but whatever. The main takeaways were doing a year of a new medication 3 to 4 times a day to reduce acid in her stomach, no eating or drinking 2 to 3 hours before bed, and raising her head when sleeping to keep stomach acid in the stomach.
Her work at the pharmacy does not give them breaks (I know it is not legal but that is a different conversation since they are using a medical loop hole) so I talked her into going part time for now. Hopefully this will also help get her closer to home with a 10 minute drive instead of the current 45 minute drive. It has been a busy month here and I am looking forward to things settling down.

So a kid that is a good friend of my daughter is graduating high school. He is also getting his pilots license, almost there, currently soloing. Anyhow we thought about getting him a nice logbook as a graduation present. Looking on Amazon and I see some “leather” ones that are “vegan leather”. Back in my day we called that pleather. Fucking assholes.
