I had dogfish head's romantic summer beer IIRC the name correctly. It was delicious and refreshing.

Started up the smoker again today and now I'm out of Evan Williams Single Barrel and Polish sausage from Falls City. Guess I have to visit the inlaws now.

Sounds like a good excuse for a bigger freezer so as to be able to cut down on the trips to the in-law's for sausge.

It's not so bad. Just a 30min flight and my wife insist that we go once a month anyway. The bigger problem is deciding on what takes the place if the Evan Williams in the whisky cabinet.

Backup whiskey is always a necessity. I keep extra whiskey around the house for just an emergency. Although my wife refers to it as hiding Crown like a squirrel hides nuts for later use.

No better coozy. They are cold as ice and suck so bad the beer cannot fall out.

For me the question isn't do I have a backup or where is the backup, it's which backup.

I did pick up another Evan Williams single barrel. This one is a 2001.
