I can only drink those diet beers labeled, 'lite' on them.

No seriously, I started on a diet(clone of the ideal protein diet) on Oct 12, I cut back big time on the amount of beer.

Hey I didn't say I was going to be a quiter and stop drinking.

I only had 5 beers this week... It's killing me, but I've lost 11 lbs in 17 days and I have stuck to the diet every day!

I may have to switch to Whiskey to reach my desired goal when the weekend appears though.

So folks drink a couple more on my behalf, thanks!

Good deal! I am being a supportive husband and joining my wife on a reduced-carb diet for two weeks. She has us eating less than 20g of carbs a day. So no beer (excluding this Saturday) for me for a while. I hope to see some difference for my "efforts".

Cool, I'm used to the diet now...I would like to drop another 29lbs and be in 165 Buck range, the morale of the story, less body weight equals savings on achohol, nah just sounded good, who gives a crap.

My dad normally starts his diet around this time every year. He just stops drinking beer completely and if he has a drink he drinks screwdrivers (he says they're healthy because they have orange juice ). He still eats whatever he wants but he never goes back for seconds (even at Thanksgiving and Christmas meals). And all his snacks through the day are apples or bananas. Add to that 2 miles a night on the elliptical and he loses a shit tone of weight in just a few months. Still eats fast food, fried food, etc.
