The Drinking Thread

I have no idea what this means but with my current car dilemma, I probably need to.

Drinking one of my favorite beers while I am getting some room cleared out to replace the radiator in my 4R tomorrow. I have had a new one for it since the week I bought it; I am just now getting around to replacing it.

Good luck!!! I once contemplated law school and my closest, life-long friend threaten our friendship if I did that. - Ended up losing him to alcohol and prescription drug addition.

When I was in wide-body sales, I used to consult with an attorney every couple of days since all of our efforts and records became our front line of defense. Our attorneys called it Preventing Law vs Practicing Law.

I work with many good attorneys - one that repped a guy who was convicted of murdering a very famous off-road racer. There are many good ones as I am confident you will be one.

The best story along these lines is one we retain for RE deals. When he holds seminars he starts out with a story on how he was the number one litigator in the surrounding counties winning every argument that tried. Then one day, he decided that if he was going to continue to be the father to his 8 children he was going to have to learn how to loose a few arguments. With that, he changed his practice to a consulting gig and it was the best thing he could possibly do for his health, his family and his personal relationships.

My wife's mom and aunt went to UT law school. Both passed the bar. My wife is not in law but she deals with them daily. To talk to her you would think she is one because of her knowledge of it. I tell her to go back and get her law degree. Mainly because she says she wants to do something different. But she wouldn't go into a high paying defense or corporate attorney. I'm pretty sure she would take the public defender role as that's just who she is. Sees the best in people and doesn't want to make make more than she can spend. So I don't push it too hard.

Hard to believe it was 9%+. Could have used more coffe and coco flavor but good.

Drinking a Hop, Drop, 'n Roll by NoDa Brewing Company I lost in the back of the fridge. While as fresh as it should be it is still an impressive beer.
