Drank one of the IPA's I brought back from San Fran. Not impressed. Easily forgettable taste.

Yeah it had a really bitter aftertaste. It was Ok...is about the best thing I can say about it.

Stopped by HopFusion last night after dinner. They were doing a release of Platinum Blonde so I wanted to go try it. It was decent. Extremely dry. Almost made it hard to drink at first. Glad I got it as part of a flight and not a whole glass.

One of the very few places to eat at near me, cash only. Pretty decent burgers and fries/onion rings.

A distillery opened up here in town last October. Never knew they had a tasting room until here recently. Decided to go try it out today because some friends were in from Austin. Right now they're just doing blended whiskey while they get their name out there and get their distillery built next door. The whiskey is delicious and the vodka is the smoothest vodka I've ever drank. Not as much flavor as Tito's or the like but it goes down smoother than any of the rest. The whiskey is just as smooth. It's a bit sweet but not as sweet as it smells. Has a bit of a pecan or butterscotch after taste. It would compliment Dr Pepper perfectly! But I'll just drink mine with an ice cube. The vodka is an in house only thing that's not marketed but the whiskey should be in all Total Wines. It's worth the $27. I picked up a bottle of each. Cant wait to see what they can do once they get their distillery up and going.

It wasnt cold when purchased and it was going to the man cave and sun room fridge so this made it easier.
