Plasti-derp the interior.. I think I may have some yellow around here that I won during a TOR Christmas.

Well.. he and I both. I'm out here and I am sweating my elbows off.![]()
Did you just use a hose or anything special to clean them? Mine are approaching 20 years old and I’ve never touched theAC fan is fixed. I also cleaned the condenser coils on each of the units outside. Damn, they were NASTY!! I don't know if I have ever cleaned them to be honest. But now they are nice and silver. I will be adding this simple routine maintenance to my list of things to clean on a regular basis. Reminds me, I need to clean the pool filters.
I was thinking about that. I know I have seen coil cleaners previously at the big box store. I might pick some up for next time.

Simple Green makes good shit. I recall when I had just joined the AF, since I didn't have many stripes I was one of those who got selected for the less enjoyed tasks on the flightline. One of those tasks was the wash rack, where we washed F-15's... using Simple Green. The Sgt who showed us what we needed to do said to not worry about Simple Green as it was all natural and then he sprayed a fucking mouthful of the stuff and swallowed it. Man I hated going to wash rack. You had to wear a rubber rain suit, basically overall pants, rain coat and rubber boots from the 70's, all made from rubber thick enough to make a road bike tire out of. It seriously sucked, hot as balls in the summer.. if you were not wet from the fire hoses spraying water to rinse the plane you where wet from sweating your ass off. Winters was an indoor rack, still got wet but not as hot. Thankfully it was usually a one day task. But I think worse than that was paint barn... where you had to sand the aircraft down to damn near bare metal.. took days. You were there until that plane was ready for paint. You would go through dozens of masks and still have gray boogers. The number of sanding discs consumed was in the 1000's if not more. It was cool to see the aircraft come back from paint all nice and pretty. But I don't miss that shit at all.

Wish I had one of these at work.Maybe you might consider this a garage or house improvement, maybe a tool. I bought it last year on sale from the big orange box store for pennies on the dollar on clearance. It's called a Hedgehog boot/glove dryer and warmer. Damn this thing works good; I know most of you guys in Texas don't see that cold of weather but up here if the boots and gloves get wet, sticking them on the heater vent takes a long time to dry them out. This thing works much better, I leave it at the foot of my basement stairs so it's out of sight but still functional. Has an ionic cleaner function as well to get the funk out of your boots.
