Shed was installed on Friday. I put in the 20 watt solar panel, dual battery charge controller and some interior led lighting today. One of the charge controller sides goes to the riding mowers battery to keep it topped off. Put in a light switch with 2 switches, one for internal and one for external. External wil have to wait.









wire hanging down is for the mowers battery... gives me some slack in the line to move it.

Nice Sean! Love the idea of the LED's, battery and solar charger. I never thought of that and it's definitely easier than running electrical to the shed. Time to clear out the garage!

Lowes had some. Swing by and grab a few $20 light bulbs.

Mine just work off the standard 120 volt dimmer you would use on any lightbulb.

Pretty sure these are the ones I bought.. don't have any issues with them.

Yes Sir, you must have a compatible dimmer switch that is rated for CFLs and LED's

There are tons of old dimming switches in older homes and Not complaint to use with LED's or lower voltage than intended to.

Since LED's use much less voltage, new dimmer switches were made in the past 5 or so years to be more adaptable/sensitive to the lower voltage requirements of the use of LED's
