Knowing you I would say nothing less than 6 beers...Bombers that is.

At that rate I could enjoy doing work around the house.

Depends on the size... 30 gallon= 2 beers
40 gallon= 3 beers
50 gallon = 4 beers

How fast does your water heater drain???

I think you meant to say "that's how fast you drink?"

Got grass planted. I still have some spots on the edges I need to fill in but I ran out of sod. Also redid the mailbox planter. The pile of concrete was an old mailbox foundation I had to jackhammer up.

Really wish I had taken a before pic but here is an after pic of my backyard. There was all the extra scrap rock from when the retaining wall was built and tall grass because I could not mow that area with the mower. I pretty much ignored it while I was taking my college classes so it caught pretty bad in that area. Today I decided to clean it up and take it back as usable yard space. I cut all the grass/weeds down, raked them, and then used a wheel borrow to cleanup all the rocks. The end goal is to get my place cleaned up and cleared out enough to justify getting a decent riding mower.

Thanks, I figured it was about time I start getting caught up around the outside of the house.

Maybe not a home improvement but I am adding something to the garage for entertainment value. A 1/43 slot car setup! I have about 45' of track (current pics show about 17-18' of track) so I'll be building a large 5-6' x 10' platform that will raise and lower from the ceiling. Add some AstroTurf and somehow fix the track to the table. Got some ideas for it. Little one thinks it's fun as shit right now. I ordered 5 extra cars for the setup, 2 of them are from Disney Cars so it can be used for little ones to race with and have fun.

While not home improvement yet, it will be. I have been employed by my wife to build a set of end tables... Hand cut with dovetails. I love a challenge and have accepted. These are my first ever dovetails done by hand chisel in some crap fenceboard... I will need more practice before making those tables.

That will soon be purchased. Thanks. The ones I did today, I just cut the pins and then traced them to do the dovetails. For anything nice they will certainly need to be uniform.
