Oh no. They are ugly

Built another loft area in the garage for storage above. It's 15'x6'. Ran out of wood to build the front "wall". But she's stout and will help clear up some clutter around here. Not a ladder up front but the start of the "wall". Plan to have a few more pieces like that across the right side along with skinning it with some plywood and then paint to match walls. Should allow me to hang shit on that wall easier. To include cabinets.
Will install some led lighting underneath as well to led me see WTF I'm looking for once it's done.

Bunk for the sex slave!
Time to build a basement. May be able to hear her crys for help from there.

I love the idea of being able to check it from work. There have been many mornings on my way to work where I think.. did I shut the door? It has an autocloser on it, but it has an override ability (if you want it left open longer than 5 minutes or 10 minutes, the next iteration is leaving it open all the time). Anyhow, once the horn is fixed thats next. Busy day.Genie garage door opener on the main side of the garage is taking a shit. 2.5 years old, builder grade I guess. Fucking thing won't shut the door all the way. Leaves it open about an inch or 2. Its getting worse. I can manually push the down button on the opener to make it go down further, but the 'memory' function is not working. So, off to Home Depot and I picked up a 1.25 horse Chamberlain with battery backup, wifi and an app so I can tell if its open from anywhere on my phone. Even close it or open it remotely. Now the conspiracy theory side of me says thats not good, someone can hack it. Well if they really want in, I'm sure there are easier ways than trying to hack my garage door opener. I may be wrong.I love the idea of being able to check it from work. There have been many mornings on my way to work where I think.. did I shut the door? I picked up a auto door closer off Amazon about 2 years ago.. Autocloser is the brand. Mine is this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/172035611228?ul_noapp=true&chn=ps&lpid=82 Appears they have new ones now. It works great! I basically mounts on the front of the opener. Has an electronic eye that watches this reflective piece that you attach to the top of the door. When it opens it then "sees" the reflective piece and goes into a countdown mode. After 5 minutes it beeps and then closes the door. You can manually override it for another 5 minutes by pushing the small button you can mount anywhere (mine is on the bottom of the door opener). Push it twice and it overrides the whole thing.. leaving it open until you go push the normal button to open or close the door.
That's awesome man. I see the space heater. Do you have AC for summer months?
