EDIT: I did pay my last electrician the final total just to get him the hell out of my house so I could cleanup his bullshit. The next time I'm just gonna find an electrician who will let me use his license and run all the wiring myself.

Ordered a new receiver for my media room. My 8 year old Denon AVR-3808ci is a beast, but it doesn't have 4k ability nor bluetooth. Looking at new ones that would replace it and the AVR-X4200W and AVR-X6200W are the closest to it.. in terms of power and price my 3808 was right in between the two. They both are on sale since they are introducing new ones this fall. The 6200 is $900 off and the 4200 is $700 off. I went 4200. The 3808 will be moved to the bedroom (I have a set of Definitive Technology ProCinema 600's in there. Should make laying around watching TV in bed more fun.

One of my Def Tech BP7001 towers powered sub amp developed a buzzing so I had to unplug it. Called up Def Tech and to my surprise it wasn't overly expensive to get a new amp for the sub in the thing! Shweet.

Well I hate to go to the theater but I love watching movies. Might as well have a home theater that will blow your head off in the process. With about 2200 watts in the room it lets me do that.

Built the shelves for the shed today. Allowed me to store the pressure washer, smaller Bostich compressor, Rigid planer, and generator that previously occupied the garage. I'm happy.

It looks like I am shopping for a dryer this week. My current dryer is 9 years old and is in need of a handful of repairs to get it back in shape. The parts cost almost half as much as a new dryer so it is time to upgrade. Hopefully a newer dryer will help knock down the electric bill a little as well.
