Yep. See it all the time over here in the old buildings. Their slabs sag in the middle so near the columns it's typically inches higher than the main floors areas. I don't do it so no idea what prep/labor/bs is involved. What I do know is the stuffs not cheap to do. Guy I'm working with now just had me re-quote his whole job with out of square glass. GC said they didn't want to spend the 60k leveling the floor. I gave him an 80k add....the floor is being leveled lol.
Yeah I've had pallets of the stuff delivered to my jobsite before. Typically the flooring contractor always underestimates how much they need.

No way in hell I'll float over OSB wood to have concrete level, that shit would never last.

I'll probably have existing floor busted out and pour entire new floor.
Or drill into the old slab for rebar and pour a slab on top the existing one. But then it's a matter of how the foundation is and if it can take the extra weight.

If your adding plumbing you already need to break the slab up so re-pouring a new slab sound's like it could be the best and least expensive way.

Finally got tired of digging through a loose stack of wrenches and sockets to start organizing my roll around tool box.

Worked 12 straight hours doing everything from working on my roof to fixing stuff at my mom's to organizing my garage.

Also ordered the TV mount for my garage TV. I ordered a 4k Fire box for my living room tv and will use my old firebox for my garage TV. It's gonna be a sweet setup :).

Looks like my wrench drawers.. everything in its place. Label the drawers as well... helps when others come over and ask "Where is a XXXX"... "In the drawer labeled X's"

New flag, Lorenzo de Zavala Flag of 1836, deer proof fencing around trees and replaced sprinkler heads-'pita to adjust'.

The De Zavala Flag
The flag that has caused the most confusion is called the “De Zavala Flag” named for the first Provisional Vice President of the Republic of Texas, Lorenzo de Zavala. He is said to have proposed that the letters of T E X A S be added to the national standard during the convention held at Washington-on-the-Brazos which began on March 1, 1836. The Washington Convention records mention many conflicting comments about the design of the first proposed flag, but there is no evidence that this flag was ever made or flown, and in fact there is no mention in the records of the convention that Lorenzo de Zavala made such a motion.[iii] Some historians say that portions of the records of the 1836 convention are missing, and this is why Lorenzo de Zavala is not mentioned as making such a motion in the convention records. However, another member of the convention, Charles Taylor, did make such a motion. The members of the convention must have considered at least one of the early flags flown in Texas as the national standard, regardless of whether or not the flag was official or not. However, the “De Zavala Flag,” a blue flag with the five-pointed white star in the middle and the letters T E X A S spelled out around the points of the star has become one of the more well-known and displayed historic flags in modern day Texas, and in fact this flag is considered by most people to have been the first official Republic of Texas flag. A similar flag, without the letters of T E X A S was the flag of West Florida in 1810, when the citizens of Baton Rouge revolted against Spanish rule in West Florida. This was the first known flag to use a single five-pointed star as a lone star symbol for independence and was probably the inspiration for our “Lone Star Flag” in Texas some 25 years later.

Some historians believe that Charles Taylor was talking about the “Republic of Texas Navy Flag” and that the letters of T E X A S were placed around the white star in the blue canton of this flag. This scenario could be claimed regarding any of the early militia flags which were made before the March 1, 1836, convention began, and different historians have made just such a case for many of the early Militia flags. To the author’s knowledge, there is no proof that any of these variations of these flags ever existed.

We have an older 1st gen Samsung 40" LCD TV in the master bedroom, as well as a Samsung BluRay and my old Denon 3808Ci receiver with a set of Definitive Technology ProCinema 600 surround speakers and sub. Well the Denon is too tall to use. It fits but there is not any room for air to move on top of it. Its all in a big armoire. Mainly because that old TV has a bezel that is HUGE! It must be 3" on all sides. Anyhow for Black Friday I picked up a new Samsung 40" 4K Smart TV. Its amazing to see the difference between the two. Size is the main thing. My wife and daughter swear its a smaller screen, but its not, just no bezel. So now I can lift up the shelf the TV is on and use the surround sound. And for what its worth, I probably didn't need the 4k TV as you can't really tell between 1080p and 4k on a screen that small. But it was on sale and maybe $40 more than the standard 1080p smart samsung tv.

My parents bought a 65" 4k TV not too long ago. I tried to watch something in 4k and it made me sick.

Installed a leftover cabinet in my kitchen (I was originally going to use it for a kitchen Island but it didn't work out). So much easier to to install when your floor is only an 1/8" out instead of 3" like my garage lol I also dropped down two new 110V outlets. I tapped into a single 20A outlet that wasn't being utilized (originally for a hanging microwave, but I installed a cheap hood instead). So now my toaster oven and microwave got moved to the new cabinet which freed up a TON of counter space.

Also installed some new lights in my garage but didn't finish installing all of them. I got the mounts and electrical cable in, I just need to mount the lights. I'll finish everything tonight and post up pics tomorrow.
