Just have to worry about battery life. LOL.. Reminds me.. WTF is the key for this new door lock we put in. ???
Yeah I put this in around Christmas and I just replaced the batteries a few days ago. You can hear the lock motor start to slow down and that's when you know it's time to change them out.

BTW - if any of you want to redo the locks on your houses myself and I suspect a couple others on here may be able to help. I know I pay much less than consumers do for hardware & I have resources available to me most do not so most times you could get a much tougher lock through someone like me and spend the same amount of $$ as a lock from a box box store. I buy from JLM/Midwest/Mayflower + a ton of other specialty guys + I'm open with a ton of manufacturers direct. My expertise is glass doors and locks, not locks for wood or metal doors but like today - I do dabble in locks for wood and aluminum doors from time to time.

Spent the last 10 minutes writing up these horrible hardware sets for submittal approval:

Not my home per say, but it might as well be. I'm remodeling my office. Put down new laminate floors, sheet rock and doing old tin trim.

Whatever you guys buy - make sure they have "bump proofed" it. Since Schlage is a major manufacturer they are also a large target of pickers and people using bump keys. Starter Bump Key Set

Almost done. Still need to paint the electronic cabinet in the corner white to match the walls and put in my a/c vents. And I have a few old automotive signs to hang up still, and a few collectables to add to my book shelf.

Turned out real nice. You have a nicer office door than me and I sell them for a living. Mines a door one of our PM's ordered wrong and I can't lock.

My coworker who framed my office needs to get a slap in the back of the head. If I try to open my door at the same time as the guy across the hall they hit each other....... and that sums up how proactive in planning things out the company I work for is. My OCD is off the charts every day whenever I use the dam door. Talk about a demotivator if there is such a thing lol

At least he has a panic on his door

Looks great! Good job! Super jelly of the office decor. Wish I could have that type of stuff here.

Wish your desk layout was the other way so it's easier to walk behind coming from the entry door rather than having to go around it every time. Also, utilizing the larger desk for everything will be more ergonomic for you in the long run rather than trying to cram your arms, notepad, coffee cup, computer, etc...all onto that smaller desk. I design office layouts a few times every week since we don't have an architect here anymore.

all this speak of office remodeling. We moved into our builder home in January. Everything is matte grey and looks like primer. In fact, I'm pretty sure that's about all it is....primer. It shows every scuff and touchup is impossible. I've been itching to change some of the colors so that he house feels less sterile and generic. Maybe I'll go get some paint this weekend and change up my office.

I had it turned the other way, but I didn't like being open to the room lol

Sorry to hear that but it sounds like tinted primer. That's the oldest painter trick in the book. Find a small corner in a closet and try to peel some paint off. That will show you how many layers of paint you actually have.

On another note you guys got a booming company down there. 77% increase in revenue over three years is tough to keep up with:
