this kinda takes away the fun of fishing from the breakfast table, but I do see the potential in this product to setting hooks while I’m gone. lol

I wish I could fish from home. I already have enough poles, but NJ doesn't allow me to fish in residential areas. Shady area is my paint ball pole - it's riding a thin grey line as it is and I'm sure catching fish with it is illegal.

Oh trust me - if I was going to buy it I'd get the large version regardless of whatever US importation regs are on it ~ Same thing I just did with my butane stove from Japan that wasn't available in the US.

Yeah it does take the fun out of it but for people who don't have a ton of time then this is a good, kid safe option (provided you install it up high on the tree).

welp that option is out and so is the PVC slide traps I wanted to make. Libtard laws make it impossible for me to dispatch them in my yard by any means. Must be relocated and I'm not taking the time to do that every year - Much easier to just make fertilizer with them.

I do find it funny we have a hunting season via muzzle loader for them and it must be sub .36 caliber. Never in all my years have I run into a squirrel hunter in NJ lol

That is funny but sad that you cannot protect your own home from two legged vermin or four legged tree rats.

rat poison

It's illegal to poison squirrels in the US. Something about no poisons being "acceptable" for this use thus effectively making it illegal. IDK, need to be a lawyer for most US laws it seems.

I can protect my house from within my house. Basically trap needs to be inside.

Ill just keep scaring them away with paint at velocity I guess. I have so many large nut bearing trees it would be impossible to save my bulbs/Tacoma/garden without taking 20-30 of them out of service every year it seems.

I just need to get a dog, a better fence to keep the dog in, and a doggy door that allows the dog out whenever he likes. Ive been wanting one since I bought this house - just never took the time away from work/personal life to make it happen and train one up.

It’s very well possible you have a rat problem too.

It's because if they die by poison out in the open, then it's possible for other predators to eat the poisoned squirrel and die as well.

Yeah, I’m actually not a fan of using poison because the birds of prey are likely to ingest the animal. I rarely use poison on these gophers, because of my dogs, but sometimes I’m not able to trap the gophers and I will use poison, close off the hole, then cover the mound area in Cayenne pepper and dogs don’t even attempt to dig or sniff.

I would like to have a rat snake farm, when gophers appear, open a hole and send the snake down and close off the hole. :D

Not for homes, but if you're a baller I guess you could spend $80 per sqft for some of this ugly ass mirror I have on a job. Just got my samples in for it.

9/16" lami = 1/4" bronze mirror, multiple layers of printed reflective film, top layer of 1/4" clear glass.

Looks to me like Pablo Escibar sneezed

Those mirrors used to be popular back late 60’s and 70’s built in entryway of homes.

and for Italians into the 80's and late 90's lol

we used to do stuff like this all the time 20 years ago and my Italian step dad also had this in his house and the one he sold my sister (similar - pics from Google). Nothing like some gaudy mirrors with some gaudy beveled mirror strips at the permiiter to go with the clear vinyl furniture protectors lol

I almost thought of cutting a hole in my shed and baiting them into one of those kill traps in the shed so no one would know, but alas my paranoia and OCD will not allow me to do so. Sucks that if I break one law they attack my 2nd amendment rights when one has nothing to do with the other. Anything they can do to strip your rights away and make you dependent on their tit, they seem to do up here.

that's bad ass!

Looking back I have no idea why I thought a kid that grew up in the woods and the water could ever live in a neighborhood. Worst decision Ive made was buying a house in a hood surrounded by people. At the house I grew up in - I would never be in fear of the law because I had no one to rat me out. I'd of simply taken out my Marlin 22lr and ended this issue months ago. Heck we used to go on squirrel hunts when we were kids and more than once staked out the perimeter of a friends house with 3-4 guys and wiped out infestation issues in a single weekend.
