The Laundry Fairy bought this India 9 x 12 100% wool rug from Pottery barn, it took me and my son to carry this heavy rug in, Surprisingly enough with all the discounts, it wasn’t too heavy on the wallet, on sale 60% off then another 15% with military discount.

I mixed up a gallons worth of wet & forget so later this week when temps are higher I can start spraying.

Then I couldn't just sit there so even though it was 30* I sprayed down a deck board that's rotten just to see what happens.

I find it very interesting TX has yet to adopt the 2018 IBC. That's pretty scary for a state in hurricane & high wind zones. if shit hits; the fans - stay away from your windows for sure - they are built under very old codes. You need to really thicken up glass to decrease deflection in 2018 IBC. New standards will change your building practices for SURE when adopted.

Here's the new glass thicknesses you need to use to meet code when TX adopts it in 2020:

IBC 2018 also no longer allows you to use monolithic glass in overhead handrails for obvious common sense reasons. IBC 2018 calls for a ton more lami

The only reason I'm up to date on this is we based all of our calcs for the door manual I helped rewrite with IBC2018's codes (place I grabbed that chart from). Well that + PA adopted them 2-3 years ago so I had to be on the ball then when I was a manufacturer.

Got up to 40* today so I sprayed the wet & forget. Stuff goes quick. Blew through 6 gallons doing the N and W sides of my roof and house siding.

Time will tell if it works.

The condenced version I got has a 32* F - 80* F application range and the less sun the better.

Some of the ready to spray versions differ and need 55*-80* temp ranges for application.

I just bought 6 gallons of the condensed version. If it doesn't work I will have blown $200 and a few hrs. If it does work Ill of saved myself a few days pressure washing and cleaning.

I'm not a "fan boy" just yet. Need to see some progress to see if it was worth it or not.

I also sprayed some other items yesterday. Saving those pics for a before/after comp. post.

So far I've tested it on and am awaiting the results from:
concrete
vinyl siding
asphalt shingles
aluminum siding
vinyl windows
glass
pressure treated yellow pine
painted steel
raw pine wood
fiberglass

Oh and it's slippery when wet so if you use it on a roof - don't paint yourself into a corner like I did

I go with the concentrated/condensed outdoor version for the lower application temp.

I'd bet you can try to source the active ingredient in powder or crystal form to pay even less but I didn't take the time to look into that aspect.

No sir. I sprayed 6 gallons total after I mixed it all up. Covered approx 500sqft of siding 500sqft of roofing + some small misc items like concrete steps and some sidewalks and doors/windows. I have the feeling I put it on heavier than some based on some of the videos Ive watched, but I'm fine with that.

Now Ive got over 2,000sqft of fence and 500+ sqft of decking to do next.

That's all moss and lichens + thats only growth from Spring till now. Every spring I go up, sweep off the big stuff, then used to bleach it with a 50/50 mix of water to bleach.

My South and East facing roof surfaces look 100X better than the North and West. The tree's + direction my house faces means some areas never see light unless it's noon in summer.

All the moss on my roof has turned brown.

All the black mold on my concrete has turned brown.

Green mold on my siding went from green to black to brown.

Sprayed my deck, shed, some sidewalks, and some fencing. I must be putting it on too thick - ran through 2 gallons of concentrate/6 gallons once mixed and I still have the roof of my shed and about half my fencing and sidewalks to go.

Must have spent half the day yesterday cleaning the crap out from between the deck boards that built up on the joists before I sprayed the deck.
