Trimmed all the branches on my mom's rent houses that were hitting the power lines. That DeWalt pole trimmer is one of the best things I've bought in a long time. It's already paid for itself several times over.

I bet that the spring for the drive belt pulley is a 80lb to 100lb spring, holy shit, I had to get my big boy panties out to put that spring back after replacing the belt.

Swapped out a bad GFCI in my kitchen. I've replaced every GFCI receptacle except one in this house. The electrician was the only contractor I had issues with on this house remodel. Fucker put in 15A GFCI's when all my breakers are 20A (expect the bathroom breakers. They have to be 15A GFCI breaker + a GFCI in the bathrooms per electrical code).

My dad bought a rent house... well half of a rent house. It was my grandparents house and he bought his sisters half from her. Anyway, my sister is moving into it and we have quite a bit of work to do for it first. Luckily my dads off work for the next month or so. Unluckily its because he had shkukder surgery so most of the work is falling on me. He had an AC company come out and price nrw inside and outside units. Lowest they could get it was $9000. So he ordered new Trane units online for $2200 shipped to his door. So I guess we're AC guys this week. Also have to modify the carport, build a driveway, build a deck, cut down some trees, insurance should be putting a new roof on it soon, needs some new siding/trim/paint, and will eventually need to add some fencing down the line. But just the AC, roof, and driveway are needed before she can move in. AC and driveway/car port should be done this weekend.

Sounds like a lot of work is in your very near future. Is the house at least moderately close? Last time I got pulled into something like that the work was almost an hour away one way.

Nice, sounds like a lot of work ahead for y’all.

Curious what Trane AC unit/model y’all ordered?

Yeah its only about 10 minutes from the house. Just past the rodeo grounds headed out toward Rio Vista.

Good question, I have no idea. He already had it ordered before I ever even knew he bought the house lol. I just know its a 3 ton Trane.

Ok, I will know here in the next 2 weeks or so, if I need to start building out my 3 car garage to an apartment, The Laundry Fairy’s Aunt, going through cancer treatments etc, may end up living with us.

Found it. Its not a Trane. Its RunTru BY Trane. Their cheaper brand. Similar to Payne being Carrier's cheaper brand I'm assuming.

Worked yesterday from 5PM-10:30PM and today from 8AM-3PM getting everything inside on all my mom's rent houses and my house. Got my garage organized last night so I could cram it full with my outdoor furniture/outside junk today. Got all the cars under cover and the nice/expensive cars put in garages.

Not worried about water at this point (knock on wood). But I am worried about high winds and losing power for an extended amount of time.

Invasive grass can kiss my a**

Bee got me today when I was removing this clump ...along with about a million skeeters. Bee's love the purple flowers on them. Not sure if the skeeters are the worst in a long time or if Ive just been getting lit up because Ive been spending more time outdoors than normal. Sure it doesn't help I'm sitting on the ground in the shadows only moving my arms. Usually wear long sleeves and pants but it was 95* today.

A neighbor of mine has invasive milk vine taking over her yard, probably covers 1/4 acre, each individual vine can grow 6 to 12” a day.

they are the worst. my meth head neighbor and the other guy on that side have vines. They climb up their 4' chain link then jump to my wood 6' fence. I have to go around with a step stool and peel it back every few weeks. now they are growing under the fence in my yard and I'm not pleased. pretty sure the meth heads are gone - I haven't seen any lights on in a week. house has been in foreclosure for months per zillow :spy: lol

if I see it up for sale or auction I'm jumping the fence and taking down some weed trees and all the vines on my property line :headbang:
