The last of the pool deck. I put an ad on Facebook for “free old wood, mostly rotten” and so many people came to the house to remove pieces and haul them away. Free labor and free disposal, my mind was blown. This is all that was left after a few days of folks coming out to the house. I hauled it to a friend’s property for a bonfire

Tried a new tractor implement today to trim the grass at the edge of the pond and also attempted to trim down in the ditch at the street. 10 minutes of use and I managed to break off the wheel, bend the bracket that holds the wheel, and the trimmer head no longer spins with the PTO. Shoulda gone green I guess.

Is it under warranty? Never seen an implement like that, maybe you’re better off with the money to use for beer to look at the weeds growing

Looks like one of the attachments that "rolls" around posts to cut right next to it and between the fence posts. The county my Dad works at has a couple of these for the golf course. It saves them a lot of hours being able to mow between the fence posts vs having to mow + trim between posts. Pretty slick piece of hardware.

No idea. It’s been sitting at the back of the property since new. I bet it’s been more than 2 years that the video says is the warranty.

Well Sean is a bit different since he can work from home/out of a sweet 40' travel trailer. You're in a different situation since you need to keep all your animals safe.

Barndo would be cool... and wood prices are going down a bit. Read they were down 40% in June. Not sure how that is reflected in the new construction market. But I also need very good high speed internet, most barndo's are out in the sticks with limited internet options.

Well I got my trimmer going again. I fixed the wheel and it turned out that the belt had just slipped off the pulleys. I was able to run it for another 20 minutes before the belt shredded. I’m going to see if I can get a Gates replacement belt for it. This one clearly sucked. It popped off twice and then snapped before I had even trimmed all the way around the pond.

Fucking roofers... just about the dirtiest creatures on the planet. They also fucked up my satellite dish, its pointing wrong. As an added bonus they spilled paint in my driveway. Oh yeah, these fucktards didn't mention any of this when it happened. I spoke to the owner, he was not happy.
