Got my 7'Lx48"Wx8'H A/C platform built at the house. Going to store outside stuff underneath it. Getting this built helped get a ton of wood out of my garage.

I'm planning on starting to build my temporary walls tomorrow for the new beams I'm going to install. Going to get final measurements and order my beams next weeks.

I also painted the decks posts at the bottom to seal them. Going to re-install the trim around the posts tomorrow with stainless nails and caulk them up (the galvenized finish nails the contractor used rusted out).

I don't think this classifys as improvement but...

Lost part of a tree which wiped out my gas regulator to my house last night.

We had the fire department and centerpoint come out to cap it off. My Tacoma smelled like natural gas all day...

And my pier took quite a bit of damage.

My neighbors pier was totally wiped out. Guess that's what happens when you have your landscaper build your pier for you.

Got rid of the brush pile, burning live brush is always fun to send friends from the next town over smoke signals lol

You need to invest in planting that acerage to eat. Huge yard full of tarded grass surrounded by fertile farmland when you own a tractor is a total waste. Might as well put in a golf course. Same as burning all that free fertilizer you could of simply dropped on top of a food forest.
Told you years ago I'd help you plant it out. With my lasers and your tractor we could permaculture the fuck out of your yard. Raise the property value a ton and stop it from flooding let alone the tax breaks from your "tree harvest"

A golf course might make me some more money lol Tax breaks would not occur sadly, to get farm assessed land you need at least 6 acres minimum. But since my neighbor created a berm to stop his yard from flooding, I have gained about 60x120 ft plot that they were previously farming. I did plant some fall lettuce out there, next year I plan to expand a little. My cousin has a box blade and a rototiller for 3 pt hitch I can borrow anytime so it should be easy to keep the ground maintained.

Worked on my pier the last two nights after work until dark (and then I worked on it some more). Thankfully my piers fishing lights still work so that's been a huge help!

Such a pretty day yesterday.

Super sketchy but I'm building a small platform to get to the other side so I can secure the boards there and save that wood.

Less sketchy now that I have a safety strap to hold onto lol I was trying to get that beam out of the water. I have Simpson stainless Timber screws on order to re-secure everything on my pier. But this strap and a bunch of 3-1/2" stainless framing nails will hold it for right now (I was trying to get it level and then shoot it in place, but the framing nails couldn't hold it upright on their own).

Yeah if you don't repair them immediately, you have to get a permit, which is BS.

Yep it is. Thankfully I still have my outer set of plies that have boards screwed across them so the core of engineers can't reduce my pier size.

It's the GLO also, be sure to add reflectors at the end of the pier as well.

We're scrutinized pretty good where my parents place is at, because the bay system were on is designated as a hatchery bay.

Looks like I'm going to have to have my house leveled soon. Stupid fucking pier and beam foundation.

It's gonna be a whole lot cheaper than a house on a slab, just look at it that way.

True. I'm looking through all the paperwork I got from the PO as well as trying to track down his number to see if there's any kind of warranty. Because I know he had it leveled a few months before I bought it. Hopefully it will be covered.

Finally got my gas hooked back up. Centerpoint had to have a plumbing repair permit, so I hired a plumber that used to work for me to put in a new gas line to the house (old gas line was only 8" below grade and broken).

It took four phone calls to centerpoints customer service, two technician trips and a centerpoint construction crew to straighten their "broken" gas line with a sharpshooter in 3 mins. So I stayed home from 7PM-11PM waiting for Centerpoint to finish. But at least it's done now...

Had a foundation company come out and look today. The house is basically splitting in two and the two sides are falling away from each other. So far they're thinking a re-shim will be enough but they won't know for sure because they weren't able to get to the far side of the house to check because they found mold on one beam. So now I have a mold remediation company coming in the morning to take care of that (I'm sure that's going to cost a retarded amount of money). Then they'll come back and give me a final quote once they see what's going on on the far side of the house. But as of now... mold removal, complete re-shim and re-level, and replacing at least two beams. I'm sure this one is going to hurt the bank account.
