Just about wrapped up here. Gave it a good sweeping and mounted the new fan. Only thing left to do is wire up some outlets on the porch walls, we’ll see when I’ll get to that, I have one existing 20 amp outlet out there now that I can use. Now to spend more money on furniture for out here after I squeeze a few shifts of OT in to fund it.

Finished up the LED install in my closets. This thing works great for anyone interested, made perfect hole...I was going to just use my rotozip but said fuck it, one can always use a new tool, plus I didn't have to move any clothes out of the closet because it caught the dust.

I'll see if my electrician has one of these but if not, I'll order it. I have a 107 cans to cut into my house lol

I've been working on the house the past couple of days with my painters, electrician & plumbers.

I got the generator plug put on, exterior outlets cut out and added on. Tons of stuff caulked in and a 100 little things I've been needing to do have been taken care of.

Electrician got the 220v wiring ran for the generator plug, 80gal air compressor outlet, welding outlets & future EV charging outlets. He also got in the exterior lighting under the deck.

Painters got the first coat of paint on 3 sides of the house and started hanging sheetrock inside.

Plumber finished up the little stuff. I'm still waiting on my shower valves to come in so he can finish.

I started hanging the Akoustiblok on the walls I want to help block sound on. This stuff is so damn heavy that I can't install it by myself. It's nuts.

I need that sound deadening stuff around my media room. Very cool.

A friend of mine did something like that to his home game/ drum room. It is crazy how quiet it is even from the other side of the wall. It would be nice to have around the outside of the house and then some strategic inside walls.

Haha, area might be a little small for a pole, I'll have to keep those shenanigans to closed quarters in the back shop lol

Looks great! Love it!

Thanks!

It was a huge time saver, I like how the Milwaukee system locks in too, homeless cheapot had a Klein tools one in the electrical aisle as well but that one uses an allen key set screw to lock the blades in whereas the Milwaukee one locks in using the 1/4" drill chuck so there's no chance of the blades "walking" on you as you're drilling. It would be well worth it for you for that many high hats for sure!

Yeah it's expensive (around ~$400 per 30' roll + $400 freight shipping). You might be better suited using Rockwool.

Thankfully I use this stuff at work all the time...so yeah...let's just leave it at that lol

Today I scabbed the last of the deck boards today. I'm going to lowes tomorrow to pick up some more boards bc I don't have enough material.

Painters got the second coat of paint on the house and it's looking really good. I'm happy with the combination. My wife and I wanted a fun color for the house so we think this suits that. They still have to paint all of the trim tomorrow and they'll paint the deck on Monday.

The guys got the master bathroom, girls bedroom, the guest bedroom sheetrock and the guest bathroom sheetrock in.

I drove enough screws today to burn through two M12 6.0 & one 3.0 battery so my hands are shot.

That is a crapton of screws to go through those batteries in one day.
Yeah, I was driving in screws for the deck boards outside. I went through another two M12 6.0's on Saturday finishing the last of the deck boards.

On Saturday, the painters finished the second coat of the main color for the house and the first coat of trim paint. One sheetrocker came and finished the last of one-siding the walls upstairs. I finished 98% of the decking to get it ready for paint today. I got the handrails leveled on the deck (something I've been wanting to do since the day I bought the house).

I was too beat to work on Sunday and we had a little family get together planned after lunch, so I just stayed home and relaxed.

Today, the painters are putting the second coat of trim paint and painting the deck.

Well everything has arrived. Got new mounts, heavy duty mounting hardware, mounts to attach the soundbar to the TV on the patio. All ready to go. Hired a "professional" to come out Friday and do the installs. I will assist as needed and watch. Pretty stoked!

Well the 9 series TV I bought at Costco shit the bed this week. Will not do jack shit.. no lights.. nothing. Warranty from Samsung is 1 year. Thankfully Costco provides another year. So we have a warranty until the end of the month! Score! They are coming out tomorrow to look at it.

I’ve had one of my Samsungs for 5-6 years or so and no issues so far. Not sure what model it is. Hopefully the series 7 I bought back in August is good to me.

I have a Samsung in the master bath that we have had for 13 years, zero issues. We gave my wifes parents our 60" LED TV that is now probably 9 years old, no issues. Not sure what it up with this 9 series. We shall see.

Well apparently they ordered parts in advance and they did not show up. So the appointment is on hold until they get parts. Hopefully soon.

Well.. parts are not available. So I either get my money back or a new unit. Awaiting to here from Samsung. Since they no longer make 82" televisions I expect either money or a similar model in a size larger.

The 85” Samsungs we’ve been using at work lately look amazing.
