Mixing by hand or portable machine?
By hand. I need a concrete mixer but home Depot was crazy busy, couldn't find a place to park my truck or trailer so I just went home without renting a mixer.

I've been thinking about getting one from HF or NT for like $300
My plumber had the one from Harbor Freight and he said it was an absolute piece of shit. He ended up returning it and getting one from Home Depot.

I'm contemplating a concrete mixer as well.
I suck at concrete work, but I need to do some stairs up our back hill. Neighbor said he was willing to go in on one because he wants stairs too. Kind of hard to fork out the money for single project tool, but much cheaper than paying someone else to do the steps.

I was told both of those would kill my St Augustine since it’s starting to come out of dormancy? If this atrazine doesn’t work, I’ll look into other options next time.

Got about 20 dime sized holes drilled in my pool deck and raised a corner almost 3 inches in an attempt to level and stabilize the deck. Cool process to watch. The foam was 150° and 850psi

Correct for Augustine grasses, can be used very late Fall after a few cold fronts and before Spring, before mid February.
Bermuda no problemo.
Worked night shift on Thursday & Friday to get renovate our new cancer clinic in the suckasslands. Got home at midnight and was up at 6AM to meet the painter at my house so he could paint the second coat on my outside Hardie trim. I just have the deck left to paint now outside.
My electricians apprentice put his knee through my ceiling. Apparently this is his first ever attic to work in. Glad it happened at my house and not a customers house (seriously).
Finished covering up my new floors upstairs. This took a couple of hours to do. That floor covering is crazy expensive nowadays.
And I finished filling in the trench with another 800 pounds of concrete.
Tile guy starts tiling my downstairs on Tuesday and my kitchen cabinets will be here in 7 weeks (down from 12 weeks).
I didn't work today because I was wore out. I took a 4 hour nap unexpectedly (and I hardly ever take naps) so I guess I needed the rest day.

Can that be patched without any long term issues or is it better to drop that entire panel of sheetrock?
It can floated out. I'll have to make sure they do a good job so I don't have a hump there.
I acquired 14 sheets of 4'x8'x3/4" MDF sheets that were excess from a project. So I had my sawman at work cut them into casing for my doors and base trim. That saved me ~$900 in materials and the 23hp sliding panel saw made quick work cutting the panels down to size.
I woke up at 3:45AM to pick them up and get them home before traffic this morning. I also bought another 12 sheets of MDF at homeless despot yesterday and dropped those off to get cut up as well this morning.
Floor guy floated out the downstairs as best he could but there's a high hump in the middle that he can't float out. The slab was a really bad pour (like everything else in this house) so he'll do the best he can to install the floor tile level when he starts putting them down on Thursday.
