My daughter's closet got an upgrade. Looks like I forgot the fully finished pic with the lower hanging rod attached. Though, my wife still has to paint it, so I guess it isn't totally done. However, I'm done with my portion.
I notched the center support board to fit over the baseboard. I considered cutting a 45* angle on about half of it and trimming the length so that it didn't go all the way down to the floor. I suppose I still could, but I think it looks fine as is.

haven’t talked to the guy that owns it in many years, not sure if he’s still around the area to be honest. I vote a mod weekend and everyone can take a piece of it home with them, you pull it mod day

its 4wd and interior is silver…at least last I checked. Might be moldy now. Has dirt king upper and lowers, brute force front and rear bumpers, brand new 3rd member with an ARB, I want to say 4.56 gears.

I do... it also has 4.56 and an ARB. Just need a spare.

Went to go pick up some materials for the garage and a new ceiling fan for the bedroom this morning and only came home with a new kitchen sink and faucet. Of course it didn’t fit so after a trip to HD and some work with the jig saw and a chisel, I got it in. Need to pick up some sealant to seal the strainer to the sink and then I can finish it up.

Got a new Moen 1/2hp disposal installed and the drain pipes temporary’d in. It works but it’s a mess under the sink so I’ll redo the drain and the plug for the disposal soon. But for now I just needed it working so I used one of those quick flex hose kits for the drain. It drains good enough, just a little slow but it’ll get us through the next couple of days until I can get a permanent solution in.

I wonder what a dead blow hammer has any place in the plumbing world. I’ve been installing sinks and the like for 25 years and have never needed a hammer, but I’m open to suggestions

I had to use the chisel to take some material out of the back corners where the jig saw and router wouldn’t fit because it was too close to the wall. Dead blow was the first thing I came across to hit the chisel with.

Wife found a ceiling fan she likes this morning. Pulled the old one down and realized there’s only a 3” box in place and the new fan bracket smallest mounting points is 4”. So went up in the attic for the first time since we’ve lived here to see how much of a pain in the ass replacing it will be. Good news, there’s plenty of room to stand up and move around comfortably. Bad news, found a couple broken boards like this. So I’ll add replacing those to the ever-growing list.

Busy weekend around the house. First, replaced the old barely functioning 2 bulb shop lights in my garage with three new 4 bulb LED shop lights. The difference is great! Second, I borrowed my f-in-law's small John Deere tractor with bucket to move some dirt and clean up some dips in the yard. I spent an hour yesterday and then 8a to noon today moving three loads of dirt.
I used the dirt to fill in some low spots and level some areas in the backyard. I then used a load of broken road base to add on a "side spot" for parking next to my concrete driveway. The idea is to park my 4Runner there so I do not have to move a vehicle to take a motorcycle out. Then it was using the bucket to clean out some brush and level out the remains of the dirt loads. The Sammich Maker earned her keep using a rake to finish smoothing out the dirt when I moved it.
