And the shit streak continues. Took a guy out to Brownwood this weekend who imediatly starts talking garbage about how my place wasn't worth the price. Aparently he never read the ad. I told him he was paying for the deer, not a fancy lodge. He then proceeds to miss 3 shot on some great deer including an 8pt buck. Some how he went home with 2 cull bucks and a dow, but if wasn't such an idiot, he would have tagged out. Pretty damn good I'd say for $500:

Had a good looking 8 pt. walk across the road while I was walking to my stand Friday evening. He was roughly 200 yards out and looked at me just long enough for me to get my rifle up and a good look at him through the scope. Before I could even decide to shoot, he hauled ass. Oh well, next time...

She was quartering toward at 20yds through light brush. So I put it right through her chest dead center. Bullet exited just behind her front shoulder on the other side and she was toast.
First deer kill with the 10mm. I'm pretty stoked. It was the biggest deer I've ever shot.
Makes it even sweeter that I used a bullet I reloaded; 200gr Nosler HP shot from my latest Glock 20C.
