The barrels are so cheap you would honestly probably spend just as much of not more on the lid by itself. I have a TON of these for sale around me

We have had good luck using the galvanized lids from Monarch. Didn't see them listed on the website but some of the feeders have them on already. They do sell just the lid so call if u want it. We just put a rock or 2 on top of the lid and never had issues with it coming off. You can even use a bunge cord to secure the lid.
This place is not far from me and could swing by and pick up anything and deliver it next weekend.

I got a few steel barrels(sealed)if you go the galvenized lid route. Trade for cigars...food grade barrels...will even cut the lids off for ya....been meaning to free up garage space.

Yeah, I'm pretty stoked to hunt this year. Mason county is supposed to have some great deer. And while the property I'm gonna be on is only 60acres, it's on a creek bed, has a couple tanks and is surrounded by bigger ranches with some massive tanks. You can see the game trails from google's satellite pics
