speakin of bows & hogs, i gotta go put out a game cam i bought this week so i can figure out the hogs back home so we can slaughter them. and the bow thing, well lets just say it aint for me... unless the pull can come down another 5-10lbs. i did a robin hood move on accident but after a couple more tries i quit

You can get one that's 45lb draw weight and that's enough to get pass through on a deer, or you can use my 3yr olds it's 10pm draw....

As long as your killing the hogs it does not matter what your use. These damn things are all over the place. If pulling a bow back is not an option look into a cross bow.

One more day till I get to sling some carbon, sighted in my bow yesterday with broadheads and I'm deadly out to 50-60 yrds... went to the lease on Monday and saw 12 does three of them were only 30 yrds from my stand, hope to bag a few this week and hopfully tag out.

We saw a reeeally nice buck yesterday evening after we shot the pig, probably easy 16-18" 10 point. Close enough for a bow shot as well, he just stood there browsing while we drove past him.

Went to the lease over the weekend to shoot some pigs, check the cameras, and fill up the feeders. Only ended up seeing one hog right before we left but I did manage to pop off a raccoon, a rabbit, and a woodpecker with the new .17HM2. It's a sweet shooting gun. All in all we had about 3500 pictures over the last month between the 5 cameras. Most of them were of horses but we had some pretty decent deer also. I'll try to pull some out and post them up.

Well I'm sitting in my bow stand, nice and cool this morning and I ran off and left my fucking jacket at the house. Our buddy from S Africa is hunting with us this morning and at 6:45 I heard some does blowing at him, the fucker is using my other stand and prob scared them off, they usually head toward were I'm at after they go past that stand and I never saw them. Good luck to any of you other guys hunting this morning. I will post some pics if we get anything.

I'm fucking pissed at him right now, the asshole beats us down here and gets in my evening stand, he shoots a deer goes and gets his loudass ford truck drives past the stand I'm in chases off four does I had comming to me then he loaded up his deer making a fuck load of noise in the process then Hauls ass. This just happened with an hour of daylight left :mad:

He lives in Houston, we were being nice and letting him hunt here since he don't have a place. Man am I fucking pissed, me and dad are still trying to hunt. We always wate till 9-10 in the AM and dark in the PM before we get out of our stands even if we get something so that everyone can finishe their hunt, I guess they do things diffrent in Africa :mad:

Not a trophy by any means but this big mofo 6 point is getting shot this year. We've been trying to pop him off for 4 years. He's been shot once and has a messed up shoulder from it. His rack was always real tall but has been growing weird since he was shot. This year he gained some width and is outside his ears.

I think he must have gotten confused and thought he needed to hurry back to the skining shack so he could feed the natives.....
