That is a very accurate combo. The 700 action is amazing and the .308.... Well we all know about that.

I didn't do any hunting either. My buddy that has the ranch was out of town.

Morning hunts a bust, had 7 does come by across the creek from my stat at 60-65 yrds, never got a shot and inwould have been pushing it anyway with a strong N wind blowing right in my face. I'm moving across the creek for my morning hunts from now on and then it will only be 20-30 yrd shots.

nope they run wild in the texas hill country its the first one taken off that ranch and the biggest one in the group pretty sweet

No deer this evening saw 10 does all out at about 250 yrds, also saw that big fucking Hogg run by at 300yrds, he looked like a calf he was every bit of 350-400 lbs. I also had a coyote at 50yrds but he kept staying in the bushes and was eating persimmons.

I had 3 coons, 8 baby pigs and a bug-eyed bull try to get in the same tree as me before 7am. I hope some deer show up before I kill this cow!
