We're starting to see hogs at our other property now, too. I wonder if they will stick around or move on.
Damn that sucks....My processor retired. No idea where I'm going to take a deer if I kill one. Everywhere else around here is trash compared to him.

I used to use Hamilton Quality Meats, but now I almost exclusively use Wenzel's. It's kinda spendy too, but I really like itHamilton is pretty decent. Nothing could touch Kornegays for quality. He was very expensive though.
Got a nice buck this evening. My 243 strikes again and puts more meat in the freezer.
9 point main frame but his trash points at the base brings him to 14 points.

The only way I cook duck now is with bacon. Otherwise I'm not a good enough cook to make Duck taste betterMade some duck poppers last night and holy moly are they delicious! I had some extra meat so I just threw it on the grill for giggles. I haven't liked duck by itself in the past but boy oh boy was this fantastic. I sure am glad that I have two more freezer bags full! Just thought I'd share cause I was proud of these, haha. I can't wait to try them in the smoker back home...I feel like getting them up off the hot grate would be better for the bacon.

I marinated it for a few hours in zesty italian dressing, Allegro original marinade, spicy BBQ sauce, cajun seasoning, garlic powder, and mayo. Then I spread some honey BBQ sauce on them right before pulling off the grill. Such a great combination of spicy and sweet for the meatThe only way I cook duck now is with bacon. If I didn't already have a 243 I would have a 25-06I like the 25.06 a lot, I don't own one, but I used a friend's 25.06 many times and he had it zero'd in at 300yds with 1 7/8" moa. Very flat shooting round with tons of energy.
