it says that you can get them un clear coated and the metal will just act normal, so it will rust or turn green etc. spray that shit with saly water a speed up the process.

Well I'm heading out at 6:00AM to go striper/hybrid fishing. Went twice over the summer at this same lake and never caught one but caught plenty of sandbass and catfish. Hopefully tomorrow will bring some luck since we're going with someone who actually knows what they're doing.

Thanks man I plan to. We're going to Richland Chambers in Corsicana. I've been wanting to snag some stripers for a few years. Always had my eyes on one of those Texarkana guided trips but just don't want to pay. The guy we're going with (dad's friend from work) supposedly has been catching them pretty well for the past few weeks.

He only weighed about 8 pounds. Not quite sure how long he was, well over the 18" requirement though. Caught him at Richland Chambers Reservoir in Corsicana.
We ended up with him, 3 other striper hybrid that weighed probably 4-5 pounds each, and 10 pretty good size sandbass. Going back next week during Spring Break to see if we can't find some more.
