see the price on it.... i would just buy a truck
I'll second that. I always liked the Rhinos and stuff but for the price you could just buy an old trail rig that is WAY more capable and street legal too.

Funny this came up. My buddy and I were philosophically discussing a similar topic yesterday:
A Razor (or some other UTV) with some small Toyota solid axles under it, and some 33's or 35's. Neither of us had any interest in doing something like that because of cost/inefficiency/etc. but if those axles were locked and geared super high, you might have a rig that could seriously get it on. We pretty much agreed we didn't want one but it would be neat to see.

Thoughts?

I think a set of Sami axles might be better suited for a Rhino. But then with 60 horse its just about as powerful as a Sami. LOL

A few years ago I saw a guy who had a new RZR with long travel suspension, beadlocks, LED light bars, Warn winch w/ synthetic line, custom cage w/ holders for a cooler/tool box. Just a super sweet rig. I bet he had at least 25k in that thing. He was at HF actually.. and he was on the ranch roads watching others wheel.

Yeah, Sami axles would definitely be better. We honestly didn't give the topic enough attention to even get that far. It would be pretty sweet though with some 33's. It could probably get around pretty nicely too. Big bucks though.

As far as the one you saw, I agree. They're badass but expensive and not very capable. A piece of shit $3000 trail rig could go places those things couldn't even dream about. The tires are just too small.

Sami axles and 33's though... Hmmm

Certainly would be interesting if you wanted a unique rig.

So now I'm thinking I may want to do a Sig 556R instead of the Mini-30.

Nice, I like the new one Ruger just came out with, but I can't remember the name. It was in my American rifleman a few months ago.

The Ruger SR-556 is a sweet gun! I've never fired fired one but the piston system is supposedly the shizzle for hizzle, dog. I've never heard a bad thing about them.

Yep, that's the one. They had a break down of it in the magazine, it looks like a Damn good efficient system. Plus the gun looks pretty kickass.
