Leaving at 3:30am to go striper fishing. Should be a great time. The top water action on Texoma is picking up and I can't wait. Funny how I can get up for hunting and fishing at crazy hours but can't get going for work.

Have fun man. I'm hoping to make it back out to Corsicana here pretty soon for some hybrids.

Just woke up a few min before the alarm. You can catch hybrids closer than Corsicana. Several lakes in the area have them. I caught a 7-8 pounder from lake bardwell a few years ago.

Yeah but Coriscana's really not that far. Plus my dad works witha guy that guides out there on weekends so he tells us where to go. He knows where all the sweet spots are.

Well the fishing was absolutely terrible. I caught 1 keeper sandy, 2 striper about 3" long and a catfish about 5" long. My buddy caught 2 keeper sandies and my father in law caught 1 keeper. We fished about 10 hours and gave it hell. Got back to the dock and found out we outfished most of the other boats.
Still had a great time and can't wait to get back on the water.

I shot a squirrel yesterday, The shot was about 65yds with a pellet gun, wing it a little bit and he ran into the kennel with my 100lb hound and he snatched it up like it was a lion kill!
Very funny crap... that I have ever seen in a long time. I wish I had a video for it....
