Big pharma must have given up on stopping it and devoted all their time and energy making sure the new laws are written to their liking.

IMHO NY would of legalized WAY before NJ if it weren't for the huge influx of campaign contributions from the alcohol industry (NY is as corrupt if not worse than NJ). Alcohol does not like weed. States that legalize typically lose 15% of gross alcohol sales per month.

big pharma wants their piece of pie in that CBD industry, make it legal at home and it makes it even more cost effective to manufacture and distribute

STAY FAR AWAY FROM SYNTHETICS OF ANY SORT REGARDING CBD'S AND TOMATOES. That stuff is poison IMO. Just like processed food and processed information.....synthetic THC is not even close to as safe as the natural plant IMHO.
