TO-R Christmas 2018

TOR Christmas is coming up so I will be combing through the old threads seeing what people have drooled over for ideas (or not). Rules are close to the same this year as last year - member in good standing with a minimum of 2 posts from 1 Jan 2018 through 1 Dec 2018. I will run a report and post a list of who all makes the cut by 1 Dec.

We are 93 days away from the start of TO-R Christmas 2018...

I actually use last years gifts so thanks again! if I didn't have them in my trunk I would of had a pissed off truck driver because I needed the extra length the tree strap gave me to get pallets of glass out of the nose of a 53' trailer.

And I still have not done all the trips I was wanting to this year.

Good to know they came in handy. My father-in-law thought was weird I care a basic recovery setup in my 4R all the time; but it comes in handy pulling stuck people out of ditches around here all the time.

Ive got (3) shackles, tree strap, and a 20' tow strap in a small commuter car (Impreza). They all fit in with my tiny spare tire. I would never own a vehicle that wasn't equipped to get my dumb a** out of the stupied sh*t I do from time to time + I like helping others when they screw up like yourself.

So the JP barrel arrived today with the matched bolt and adjustable gas block. So the upper mostly assembled with the Midwest Industries forearm, an upper from @Anathollo , and the JP barrel weighed in at 3 lbs. The lower I will be using with it came in a little under 2.5 lbs. So I should still be good to stay at my goal of 7 lbs after a scope, mount, and BCG.
