I bet.. I have looked at them "MANY" times. I have a good set now which hold everything.. but those are swanky.

I couldn't find any I liked except these. I hate the stupid metal and plastic rails. And I dont think I would have liked the Hansen style rails and not sure they would fit in the drawer. I was going to put these on my Christmas list but I couldn't find a viable option in the mean time. They do clean up the toolbox nicely though!

I have the Hansen rails. They hold a lot of sockets. Downside is that the ones in the very back of the drawer are a PITA to get out because they are my tall 1/2" and the drawer limits how far it pulls out..like maybe 1".. so for the larger sizes I have to tilt them a smidge to get them out.

Well, speaking of sockets. I did a thing to some of mine, and now I'm going to do it to the rest of them.

I've been seeing people online fill in the engraving on their pistols. Figured I wanted to do it to my M&P shield, but wanted something to practice on. When I was taking the LCA off my truck the other night, I realized that I have to hold the stupid socket way too close to my face to read what size it is. The lightbulb turned on in my head and I knew how to practice so I wouldn't screw it up on my gun.

After putting the new LCA on today, it was AWESOME being able to read the numbers from a distance!
Some of mine came like that, but I might just have to steal your idea for my Snap-ons

I guess this is considered a tool? It's pretty badass seeing a giant robot (everywhere else uses mexicsns) paint a bus lol

I was about to say something about robots taking jobs then I thought more about it. I bet the building of that robot employed more people than jobs it took.

Not sure if I ever mentioned it but we just got a Jet vertical/horizontal metal cutting band saw that miters and holy cow is it saving me man hrs. We used to do everything like a bunch of 3rd world people via portabands. Nice to have some of our stainless actually cut strait or at the exact angle it is supposed to be. It's not the electric version - just gravity fed drop down via hydraulic pressure and weight of the arm.

I have one I bought for the shop a few years ago and like it so much I got a second one for my other shop. Waaaayyyy better then a chop saw. If only I could keep my bosses no cutting ass away from it so I could save on blades.

GearWrench and Sunex on sale at Lowes. If you try to order online it gives you an error. Call or go in to your local store and give them the item number and they can order them for you. I just ordered the 16 piece metric reversible ratcheting wrench set and the 13 piece SAE ratchet wrench set (non-reversing) for $83 total. The metric set alone is usually $175+. Said they should be here Wednesday.

Metric set item number: 1313329
SAE set item number: 1313303

Edit: to see the Sunex items, just search Sunex on Lowes website. For the GearWrench tools you have to search KD Tools.

Ive seen a explosion of battery operated porta bands on my jobs so Milwalkee must have hit the nail on the head with that release. It's the only brand I see and thats even in the companies running Hilti and Festool

Where I work they are discovering this. While the robots make some things faster/easier they add other jobs that are not cheap or easy. Everything is a trade off.
Electric buses are my next future headache. The infrastructure to maintain/charge them pretty much doubles the cost per bus. Not to mention training and the necessary rehab to my shop to accommodate them.

They are the tits. Especially the smaller portable ones my electricians use for cutting conduit.
